    Hofstra is now 6-5 in dual meet competition and won three bouts against a tough Air Force squad who upped their record to 6-1 on the season. The Pride was paced by 7th ranked Michael Hughes (22-2, 98-43 career) who posted a first period pin with a tight cross-face cradle in the 285-pound bout. The Pride then reeled off two more victories; sophomore Jacob Martin, a 6-4 winner at 125 and Vinny Vespa with a third period escape and a hard-fought 3-2 verdict at 133 pounds. At this point in the dual, Hofstra led 12-3 before the Air Force Academy Falcons won six consecutive bouts and a registered a solid 21-12 dual victory and snapped Hofstra's four match win streak.
