Nassau power, Long Beach brings a couple of top ranked wrestlers into the tournament in Ethan Andreula (101 lbs.) and state champion Dunia Sibomana (82-9 career at 116 ). They also have highly-touted Brody Franklin (116 ), Greg Milone (145 ) and Tyler Clogcough at 190 pounds. Other Nassau wrestlers to watch are Levittown Division's Santiago Pelez (131),   Shane Moore (152), and Matthew Marino (215), along with Baldwin's Nahkin Stevens (101),  John Wornian (160) and Matt Feeney in the 215-pound bracket.

Suffolk power Hauppauge has tough lightweights: top-ranked Gino Manta (108 lbs.) and his teammate Connor Sheridan (78-11 career at 108 ). Also to watch for the Eagles will be freshman Trevor Patrovich in the 101-pound class. Look for Connetquot's Medina brothers Julian (116) and Jayden (145), both are potential champions along with tough Kyle McLaughlin at 215 pounds. 

The host Chiefs point to sophomore Luke Anderson (108) along with teammates Austin Krien at 124 and Matt Reehil at 131. Other possible titlists are Joseph Dabovich (170) and James Mulhern at 285.

As always the Massapequa Tournament has proven to be a good one with many competitive teams: Massapequa, Baldwin, Connetquot, Levittown Division, Hauppauge, Long Beach, Monroe-Woodbury and CHSAA power Monsignor Farrell, all vying for top team honors at the prestigious tournament.
