             MAT NOTES:

   Monsignor Farrell (23-2) defeated Chaminade (13-7), 38-36, in an exciting final at the CHSAA Duals held at Chaminade HS. The Lions were led by reigning state champion Rich Sisti (24-0, 112-14) at 220 pounds. Other standouts were Matt Seitz (126), Chris Manfra (138), Brian Morales (160) and Pete D'Agostino at 182. Seitz upset CHSAA finalist Christian Briody (20-4), 7-3, in a pivotal bout and D'Agostino registered a key third period fall.  Farrell dominated St. John the Baptist (54-30) en route to the championship dual.

    The Flyers were paced by Danny Jones (22-6) at 145, Daniel Kerr (170) and highly-regarded Connor Watson (18-2), a senior in the 195-pound class. Chaminade defeated Stepinac (47-27), St. Francis (59-21) and Fordham Prep (63-18) in earlier rounds.
