Number ten Brentwood battled to a commanding lead against # 5 Sachem North winning five of the first seven matches. North then whittled their way back into the match trailing by eight with two matches to go.  Sachem’s Ken Oberlis picked up a crucial first period fall at 182 pounds setting the stage for the final matchup between teammate Austin Gatti and Brentwood’s Jose Andrades. The two exchanged reversals late in the match until Gatti gained the final two points with seconds to go, winning 10-9 and giving Sachem North the win 34-33.
