      Reigning state champions Adam Busiello (41-1) of ESM at 120 and Terron Robinson (33-1) of Walt Whitman at 220 coasted into the semifinal round.  Rocky Point the Suffolk dual meet champion sits atop the team standings and pushed four wrestlers into the semifinals including state placer Anthony Cirillo (20-3) at 120, the Sciotto brothers Logan (106) and top-seeded Anthony (41-2) at 113, along with Dylan Zabarra who won a hard-fought battle against Miller Place's Joseph Bartolotto and scored with a late double-leg takedown and emerged with an exciting  10-7 decision in their 160-pound quarterfinal bout.  Defending Suffolk tournament champion Hauppauge has three semifinalists, state medalist unbeaten Ben Tepperman (34-0), at 126, Jake Silverstein (35-1) at 138 and second-seeded John Munro (34-2) at 285. Lindenhurst  were paced by the Sims twins, Billy (152) and Max (160), both have identical 36-3 records. Other Suffolk standouts in the quarterfinals were state finalist Dylan Ryder (35-1) at 106, top-rated Sam Schuyler (35-0) at 195, a pair of unbeatens from John Glenn;  Zach Ancewicz  (25-0) at 170 and Damien Caffrey (36-0) who posted a 17 second fall  with a tight half-nelson at 220 and junior Deonte Wilson ((31-2) who tossed his opponent and registered a 57 second pin in the 285-pound class. Connetquot,  advanced three wrestlers into the semis, state placer Jeffrey Browne (21-1) at 182, Steven Wilkinson (36-7) at 99 and tough Paul North (36-3) who edged Dan Mauriello (32-6) of Hauppauge with a key second period takedown for a close 3-2 verdict at 126 pounds.
