Gable Steveson (8-0, 96-2 career) is back for Minnesota. The former NCAA champion and Olympic gold medalist is one of the top heavyweights in the country again. After losing in the state finals as an 8th-grader, he reeled off four Minnesota state titles. At a recent dual vs Rutgers he converted a powerful double leg takedown to a second period fall and currently has a 60 NCAA match win streak.

NCAA finalist and 4-time All-American Jacori Teemer (4-1,92-18) of Long Beach HS is top ranked at 157 pounds for the Iowa Hawkeyes this year. He transferred from Arizona State.

In the recent Iowa - Iowa State dual, Teemer had to injury default to Paniro Johnson. The Hawkeyes prevailed over the Cyclones, 21-15.

Top ranked freshman Camryn Howard  (46-2) of Bellport picked up a fall in the 138 pound semifinal round. Howard went onto to win his third Suffolk crown. He is a returning state placer. 

Massapequa's Jon Tutka (43-1) won the 101 pound Nassau County crown, as the Chiefs finished third in the team scoring.
